ABC Resorts to Oscar Parody for New LOST Episode

Lost steers clear of its conventional promotional approach and showcases it’s best foot forward. Although fashioned in a comedic manner, its "Oscar Parody" blends in well with its recent episodes, generally centering on the light hearted plots.Lost, an award-winning drama adventure series follows the lives of a group of plane crash survivors on a strange and mysterious island, somewhere in the South Pacific. With a large ensemble of talented actors, the show entails a lot of suspenseful twists and cliffhangers that often leaves the viewers baffled and bewildered. With millions of viewers worldwide, the show’s marketing team is always on the verge of creating and launching different ideas and concepts to gratify and give pleasure to its huge devoted fan base. This latest marketing approach, distinctly different from the previous trailers reflecting a typical and straightforward question-and-answer structure, appears to be well received by the avid viewers of the show Lost, evident in the progressive boost of the ratings from its previous sluggish stance. The bearish ratings, although not entirely caused by the previous stunts and exploits from the marketing of Lost, is partly due to viewer’s disillusionment of the misleading trailers. Moreover, this strategy may considerably lower the heightened discontent and frustration of many fans on promo clips, which tend to mislead viewers regarding upcoming episodes containing much-awaited answers and clarifications of the puzzling and disoriented plot just like in the ninth episode of Lost’s season three called "Stranger in a Strange Land." The said episode was supposed to have answered three huge mysteries but to much disappointment, the episode only explored the mystery of Jack’s tattoos.Ultimately, this marketing move, which displays bits of preview of the upcoming episodes without making any promises is a positive feature viewers tend to appreciate, a refreshing feature from Lost’s usual adrenaline-filled clip.

Lynda Carter Guest Stars on Smallville

Lynda Carter’s inclusion, although in just one episode, on the action-adventure show Smallville has been much anticipated. The American actress, popularly known for her portrayal of a superhero icon during the 70 ’s has long established her image as a heroine for more than three decades now.Smallville, a sci-fi television series, follows the adventures of the young Clark Kent (portrayed by Tom Welling) who resides in Smallville, Kansas.Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the show has been nominated and has won numerous awards in a variety of categories, which includes Best Network Television Series. In addition, the show consists of a swarm of talented actors who have also garnered several awards such as Michael Rosenbaum’s Best Supporting Actor and Tom Welling’s Choice Breakout Star to name a few.Staring on "Progeny," the eighteenth episode of Smallville’s season six, gives Carter the opportunity to once again surface on the television loop.In the past, she portrayed a number of heroine-like characters, which further launched her heroic image. Of course, much her valiant stardom and fame is attributed to her legendary Wonder Woman portrayal on the series of the same name. In Smallville however, she brings life to the character of Moira Sullivan, Chloe Sullivan’s mother.Chloe, known as the cousin of Lois Lane and best friend to Clark Kent, will soon face her nowhere to be found mother in the said episode, which will released on April 12. The distinct episode also explores the grounds of her long disappearance. Moreover, her guest inclusion on Smallville, although as a normal character person and not a superhero, also arouses many speculations regarding the integration of other superheroes from the Justice League in the plot of Smallville. Just like in the previous 11th episode of Smallville’s season six called "Justice," other superheroes like the Green Arrow, is incorporated to the show, which positively boosted rating and garnered a 9.8 rating on TV.Com. But viewers will just have to stick by the rest of the season to find out if there’s truth to the lingering buzz.

Prison Break March Preview - Spoiler Warning!

With Prison Break heading into the Spring of its second season, I think it’s a good time to look back and reflect on what has turned out to be one of TV’s most unlikely successes. Prison Break premiered in the summer of 2005 as one of FOX’s optimistic series, something that was high-concept and probably didn’t have a lot of hope for future success. However, with the success of 24 as a serial TV show, you never know what’s going to happen. And, surprise surprise, Prison Break caught on and for good reason. The first season was elaborately built escape from prison. The mystery and the precise planning of the escape, as long with the conspiratorial intrigue, gave viewers more than enough to keep them guessing throughout the season. The problem I saw was this: what about season 2.The main characters were no longer in prison. How can a show survive when its second season is nothing like its first. Two extremely different formulas. Now, in the second season, Prison Break has turned into The Fugitive. This isn't to say that this is a bad thing: Prison Break and FOX are pulling it off quite well. I just find it astonishing that they were able to change gears into a totally different show from one season to the next. So, I say to the fans: enjoy what’s left of season two, because season three will be totally different. Or at least that’s the plan. I’m guessing everyone will be back in prison next year, but you never know.

Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum To Pursue Directing

Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum is optimistic about his career in directingbased on his debut project called "Freaks," an episode of Smallville season6. Having this as his groundwork, he picked up a lot from this experiencenaming it the "biggest challenge" he has ever made in the program and in hisentire career. The villain actor showed much promise and potential with his firstdirectional project garnering a rating of 9.39 on TV.Com. And although therewas not much anticipation with his first work, the outcome of the episodewas surprisingly positive.Having a number of television appearances, Rosenbaum now yearns for the"behind the camera experience." As a director, he lost a few pounds and wentthrough a lot of stress. But despite the strenuous and demanding tasks, notto mention the laborious decisions he had to make, he still enjoyed thewhole experience and looks forward to other directional opportunities in thefuture. His passion and interest in further pursuing directing, especially in thefield of comedy, was evident in his enjoyment of even the littlest detailsof creating the said episode. He takes delight in the thrill of taking incharge of people, not to mention handling a huge sum of money, which he candispose according to his discretion. Moreover, he credits a major part ofhis enjoyment in directing to the people he works with.More importantly, the directional break became a huge doze of self-discoveryfor Rosenbaum who learned a lot about himself, realizing that he is capableof making influential and crucial decisions at a cooker pressureenvironment.Ultimately, he is grateful for the rare opportunity he obtained as part ofthe series Smallville. The action packed series has had quite a positivereputation of giving wannabe directors a break in fulfilling theiraspirations just like with Smallville actor Tom Welling who previouslydirected two episodes of the series.

When did LOST Lose It?

LOST dominated the ratings its first year out. Nobody could quite put a finger on its success. Was it the association of super show creator JJ Abrams? Was it the beautiful cast? Was it the gorgeous scenery, shot on location in the islands of Hawaii? Maybe it was the story, the twisting and turning mystery that kept itself out of site like a serendipitous reptile. LOST possessed that often sought after but never categorized quantity, the ‘X’ factor. So powerful was this weird concoction of surreal stories and charismatic characters that even the might American Idol was held at bay. But something happened at the beginning of season two. As Jack, Locke, and Kate descended into LOST’s mysterious and eponymous ‘hatch’ the chlorophyll engorged brilliance of the island receded and was replaced by the moldy concrete and steam punk technologies of the Dharma Initiative.People mark season three as the end of LOST, but in reality its death began with that fateful trip into Desmond the hatch hermits inner sanctum and his evil number hungry computer. This turn in the LOST story line seemed to plunge the show into a world of dark corners and cold fluorescent lights. A place where no-one wanted to be, no matter how cool the twist seemed at first. The only place to get this right was Buddytv with it’s article Saving LOST in five easy steps. The number one suggestion was to close the book on the cold concrete prison-cell like settings and move the story back outside, to the island. In the beginning, it was the island that was at the center of LOST. The island had become the shows defacto lead character. Some fan favorites, like John Locke for example, seemed to converse with it, while others, like Boone, seemed to be the subject of its will.LOST is not dead yet, so there is still time to save it, and the best possible way we can think of at this point is to get out of the ‘stations’, the bear cages, and the ‘hatches’ and back onto the beach where the island is the central character and its rusted innards are just a minor part of the tale.

3.09 Stranger in a Strange Land Easter Egg Report

Lost has become the utmost source of depth-filled sci-fi in today’s popular culture. Fantasy and science fiction are still prevalent in our society today, but not at the rate at which they used to. Of course, there are some circles where this is entirely untrue, but for the most part, the common person is not inundated with sci-fi. Lost is bringing it back into the mainstream and not in the way you would assume would happen.Lost is remarkable in the fact that it brings heavy-duty mythology to millions of homes. This stuff is dense, shrouded in mystery, and full of loose ends. Not the kind of thing that the American attention span is used to. Especially lately. The best part about Lost is that it basks in its oddness. It is unlike any other show to come before or since, it retains its own unique style even when it does something totally new and it is the first TV show I have ever seen where I have absolutely no clue what will happen at any given moment. One of the cooler parts of Lost for the hardcore fans is the inclusion of Easter Eggs in every episode. These Easter Eggs are little clues that fill up the frames as the show goes along. Sometimes they’re hints, sometimes they’re just little throwbacks to previous episodes, sometimes they hold major, revealing information. DocArzt over at BuddyTV is the expert on Lost Easter Eggs and every fan should check them out if they get the chance.

American Idol: Top 12 Guys, Quick Thoughts

American Idol began its live Hollywood auditions on Tuesday and the results were, well, lackluster. The top 12 males performed and to say that they were a little nervous would be an understatement. The fact that they were all performing in front 30 million American viewers also couldn't have been too exciting. Being a newbie to the whole American Idol process, I was totally taken aback at how mediocre all the performers sounded. I presume they'll get better as the weeks go on, but first impressions go a long way, and the first impressions viewers received last night weren't very good at all. There were a couple of bright spots. The main one, for me, however, had nothing to do with the performances. American Idol being a live show and all, it allows for unscripted banter between the host and the judges. Last night, we saw a little tiff between Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest that seemed to go well beyond playful teasing. Simon seemed genuinely upset with the way Seacrest was running the show and didn't like being called out for simply speaking his mind and telling the truth.Otherwise, there were a couple of okay performances, but no stunners. I certainly can't imagine any of these guys winning the whole thing and becoming the next American Idol. Hopefully, we'll see some better performances from the females tonight, as well as improved performances by everyone as the show goes along. That's one of the best things about American Idol: watching performers grow as the show goes along. Last night was only the beginning.

Grey’s Anatomy and the Death Card

Blame it on LOST. The ABC show set the precedent of killing a major character every sweeps period and the result was pure ratings gold. LOST managed to dominate every sweeps period by keeping fans guessing which of their most beloved characters would be biting the dust. For a while, the formula rapidly proliferated through other prime time shows, until it nearly became a requirement for a prime time drama, one that pricy lead actors were none-too-fond of.As you might imagine, like any good side-show attraction, it eventually lost its gravity and became passé. Tension was replaced with groans. NBC’s fledgling serial ‘Heroes’ made it part of its formula from the get-go, managing to draw almost universal scolding from fans and a media that had grown weary of the trick. So why, then was it so successful for Grey’s Anatomy?February 16th was one of the biggest days in the history of Grey’s Anatomy’s ratings. Grey’s Anatomy played the tired death card and found success never before equaled. What did Grey’s Anatomy do so differently in summoning the reaper that brought it such success? Something which is likely not to be repeated: it killed its lead character.Killing ‘a’ lead character is one thing, but when you dispatch the character for which your show is named, you invite all sorts of controversy. No, retroactively you wouldn’t expect this to impact the ratings, but Grey’s Anatomy producers and writers are smarter than the average bear. It would seem that Grey’s Anatomy producers created a controlled leak of information that their lead character, Dr. Meredith Grey, was going to bite the dust. This is where the side-show analogy comes full circle.Grey’s Anatomy fans around the world buzzed that it just wasn’t possible despite the powerful rumors that the Grey’s production staff would even consider killing off the character that the show was named for. It seemed to horrible to be wrong. Heavy hearted Grey’s Anatomy fans everywhere braced for the worst. In the end, it was Meredith who died, which was in a way one of the biggest payoffs ever of this tired old device. Grey’s Anatomy producers put their necks on the line and pulled off the impossible, they killed their lead star. But there was a catch. They crafted a death for Meredith which left room for a rather obvious resuscitation. Many in the media, fans included, were left to decry the move as one that could have devastating impact on the credibility of the show. A prime example, Buddytv’s ‘Grey's Anatomy: So, Who Died?’ which decried the death as a shameless gimmick from the get go.So while the death of Meredith Grey, the namesake of Grey’s Anatomy, was shocking and brought huge ratings, will the subsequent resurrection do the same? More? Or will it repel Grey’s fans tired of being dealt the death card? As of this writing, Grey’s Anatomy is three days away from answering that question, and if the internet buzz is any indication, death is alive and well.

Top Ten American Idol Auditions

American Idol and its preliminary auditions are the source of much entertainment and discussion among casual and hardcore fans of the biggest show on TV. The auditions bring a diverse group of singers to the homes of the waiting to be entertained throngs. The problem is, the ones we see on TV really aren’t that diverse. The people FOX show us on the audition episodes come in three categories: Really good, really bad, or those who have a sob story. And that’s it. Never the pretty good. Never the mediocre. Of course, I understand the reasons; they make perfect sense. Who wants to see the middle? We want the extremes. While most of the media’s attention gets focused on the truly terrible auditions, I think we should celebrate the good auditions much more than we do. There are some incredible singers that audition alone on in that room. Lots are better than a number of the biggest pop stars today. We underestimate how difficult it is to sing a cappella, not to mention venture in front of three celebrities and numerous TV cameras for the first time. These great singers are demolished by the presence of the weird, bizarre and awful lot of people who foolishly either believe they can sing, or just want to get on TV. It’s frustrating, but it’s also indicative of our fascination with trash culture. As long as people are willing to watch this in huge numbers, FOX will continue to troll out the most extreme people out there and generally they are the worst. It’s an indictment of our culture and something that FOX could easily lay off and show more of the good. But it’s FOX, and it won’t.Check out the top ten American Idol auditions in the link below to see what brings out the best or the worst of television talent shows.

The Theory of Color

Color plays such an important role in our lives whether we realizes it or not. It has the ability to influence our feelings and emotions in a way that few other mediums can. It can control our moods and thoughts. Color has the ability to make us feel happy, depressed, excited, relaxed, hungry and creative. We are faced with color choices all the time wither we realize it or not. The first crucial decision of the day usually comes in the morning when decide what to wear. Often times we will pick our clothes out based on the color of the mood we are feeling or wish to portray that day. The colors that we choose to show the world are often a direct reflection of personality. “An executive for a paint company received complaints from workers in a blue office that the office was too cold. When the offices were painted a warm peach, the sweaters came off even though the temperature had not changed.”Pantone WebsiteColors have a deep subliminal meanings that effects our thinking and rational. They have symbolic meaning that changes amongst cultures and countries. As a result of this color research and planning is a vital part of the design process. Before one can even begin a design or marketing campaign they must choose the appropriate colors that are both effective to there message and also compliment each other. Colors are a part of our pop-culture. We associate our favorite sports team by their team colors. Red Sox, White Sox, Cleveland Browns, Duke Blue Devils among a few teams to incorporate a color into their name. Colors have become a part of our every day vocabulary; “Canary Yellow” “Carolina Blue” “John Deer Green” “Fire Engine Red”.There are the three primary colors of Red, Yellow and Blue. Then there are secondary colors of Green, Orange and Purple. Additionally there are Tertiary colors that are combinations of the first two sets. Complimentary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel and often evoke feelings of excitement. Analogous colors are those that are close to each other on the color wheel. These give a particular feeling wither it be warm and cozy or cold and depressing. There are many different technical aspects when it comes to working with colors. In the print world Pantone and CMYK are the color formats, while online RGB and Hexadecimal is the medium. Because of this it is important that both the web and graphic designers work closely on the color process to make sure their colors transfer smoothly from one medium to another. A color may look one way on a particular screen but when printed out it looks totally different. It is important to come up with a color palate listing all of the different color codes that will ensure a unified color scheme throughout print and web. Red is a very strong color. It is a noticeable color that is often used on caution and warning signs. It is often associated with stop or “beware”. It’s a hot color that evokes a powerful emotion of passion, lust, sex, energy, blood and war. Red is a good color to use for accents that need to take notice over other colors. Red is often used in flags for nations, as it is a symbol of pride and strength. It is also a sporty color that many car manufactures choose to showcase their signature vehicles in. Orange is a combination of Red and Yellow. It is also a bright and warm color. It represents fire, the sun, fun, warmth and tropical images. It is considered a fun light color that has appetizing qualities to it. Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. A darker, richer shade of orange can be associated with autumn.Yellow is the brightest color to the human eye. It represents youth, fun, happiness, sunshine and other light playful feelings. It is a cheerful energetic color. Yellow is often used for children’s toys and clothes. Yellow is often hard to read when placed on a white background so designers must be careful when using yellow that it isn’t too hard to read or notice. Though yellow is a bright cheerful color as it starts to darken it however quickly becomes a dirty and unpleasant color. Yellow can also be associated with being scared and cowards. The term “yellow belly” is proof of that. Green is the color of nature and health. It represents growth, nature money, fertility and safety. Green is a relaxing color that is easy on the eye and has a healing power to it. It is often used to represent anything having to do with health. Many pharmaceutical and nutritional companies use green in their logos and material to advertise safe natural products. Dark green is commonly associated with the military, money, the financial and banking. However it can also be associated with being new or inexperienced as being green or a “green horn”. Green is becoming a very popular color in design for websites. Blue is a cool calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. It is a popular color among large corporations, hospitals and airlines. It is a color of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. Blue has a calming effect on the psyche. Blue is the color of the sky and the sea and is often used to represent those images. Blue is a color that generally looks good in almost any shade and is a popular color among males. Blue is not a good color when using it for food as there are few blue foods found in nature and suppresses the appetite. Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Throughout history purple has been associated with royalty, nobility and prestige. It symbolizes mystery, magic, power and luxury. Purple is often used to portray rich powerful kings, leaders, wizards and magicians. Purple combined with gold can be flashy and portray wealth and extravagance. Light purple and pink is good for a feminine design and is a popular color among teenage girls. Bright purple along with yellow is commonly used in promoting children's products. It gives the appearance of something that is fun and easy to do. Black is often a color used to portray something evil, depressing, scary or even death in the western civilization. It has negative imagery with it at times such as “black mail” “black list” “black hole” etc. Black is also a very powerful color that also portrays one of class elegance and wealth. Many classy clothing is designed in black from the “power suite” to the “sexy black dress” to formal “black-tie attire”. Black combined with other colors can have a very strong statement. Black is a color that can fit into almost every design to add contrast, type and make the other colors stand out more. White is often associated with being pure, clean, fresh and good. The color of a fresh snowstorm brings up images of a peaceful and pure winter scene. White is a common background for websites as it is easy to read black or dark text on it. When used with a design using lots of negative space it gives a very clean look to it. White is also used lots for charities and non-profit organizations to denote something good and positive. Hollywood often portrays their characters in white as being good; the white horse, the cowboy with the white hat, the white wizard etc. White usually is associated with being pure and almost heavenly. White is associated with hospitals, doctors, angles and heaven.SourcesDynamic Graphics October/November 2004

Smallville: 6.14 'Trespass' Recap

The previous episode of Smallville called "Tresspass" centers on Lana, again having a stalker, which leads her to an unexpected hideout, Clark's house, and Chloe's reassessment of her feelings for Clark after her break up with Jimmy.Lana, played by Kristin Kreuk, is never out of trouble. Apart from being watched and followed by a sociopath, she is clandestinely attempting to explore the secret of Clark, played by Tom Welling, by looking at the tool Lex, played by Michael Rosenbaum, stabbed Clark with. Throughout the episode, Lana is stalked with no else to turn to since Lex is out of town, but is once again saved by Clark. Upon the return of Lex, he is irritated and upset over Lana's seeking refuge at Clark's house. Quite uncalled for, Lex goes to Clark and gives him an invitation to their wedding, which makes Clark envious. This particular episode was invigorating yet it had some pitfalls since some plots are mismatched. But the best feature of this installment is that although the story lines do not take the viewers too far, the plot greatly develops different character relationships like that of Lana and Clark, Jimmy and Clark, Lex and Clark, and Jimmy and Chloe. In addition, it was a relief to see Lana getting closer to the truth about Clark. It also seems like Lana still cares deeply for Clark, and vice versa.Overall, this episode of the action-adventure series Smallville is not so gratifying as compared to other episodes. It appears to be unoriginal and derivative, having generated a similar themed episode in the past. But still "Trespass" came out as satisfactory and acceptable to the viewers and spectators of the sci-fi show, garnering a rating of 8.5 on TV.com. This episode of Smallville was written by Tracy A. Bellomo and directed by Rick Rosenthal.

Evangeline Lilly Hints at More LOST Love Triangles

The ongoing and upcoming love triangles on the series LOST is indeed bizarre. Although it seems like Kate, played by actress Evangeline Lilly, have already made up her mind, her decision maybe just be temporary.Previous seasons of LOST have often showcased the affection of Kate towards her love interests in a light-fashioned manner, not to mention the love rivals' extreme loathing towards each other, often leaving viewers with a cliffhanger. As the plot thickens, the intensity of emotions congeals into a love triangle. As for this season's wrestle, there appears to be a bit of clarity.Lilly, certainly one of the eye candies of the show is currently satisfying the many "Kate-Sawyer" fans with her ongoing on-screen flaming hot romance with the bad boy (played by Josh Holloway). But according to the beautiful actress, her controversial choice is not yet final. Considering the many twist and turns of the characters and the story lines of LOST, she may soon be under a sticky romantic dilemma, an intriguing facet of the show, which definitely gets the viewers hooked. And while Kate is busy with her tandem with the bad hunk, other fans are still rooting for her hook-up with the good doctor, Jack, played by actor Matthew Fox. The hints of Lilly regarding the indefinite status of her character's current romance is definitely good news for the avid "good guy" supporters. It's always been the good guy versus the bad guy for LOST's most prevailing and controversial love triangle. But while all these love fiasco seems so fascinating, another love triangle will be stirring up in the upcoming episodes. Jack may have just found himself a new love interest, personified by the pretty Juliet, played by Elizabeth Mitchell. So, who's the lucky guy that will finally capture Kate's heart? Viewers will just have to stay glued for the rest of the season to grab hold of the prevailing love quandary.

Tyra Banks Strokes Katherine McPhee's Breasts

Katherine McPhee, runner-up on the fifth season of American Idol, has had her share of unpleasant rumors since her exposure to the limelight. The most distinct and up to date gossip about the pretty singer is that her distinct and voluptuous breasts are not real.A probable upshot of envy or just plain tittle-tattle, the buzz has been the cause of much stress and annoyance for McPhee. To finally cease the distasteful hearsays, she seeks the help of legendary Tyra Banks of America's Next Top Model and guest stars on The Tyra Banks Show to give the viewers a piece of her mind.Banks, an African-American celebrity, was popularly known as one of the original Victoria's Secret Angels. Her career as a model is deemed to be a success, garnering several recognitions and having major modeling credits on the runway, print ads, and commercials such as Cover Girl, Swatch, Pepsi, Nike, Inc., Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana and Yves Saint-Laurent just to name a few. In addition, she has graced the covers of renowned magazines like ELLE, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Amica and Sports Illustrated, which ultimately brought her to fame. Also known as the host and creator of America's Next Top Model, she encountered the same speculations beforehand. The rumors about her "supposedly" silicon enhanced breasts troubled and hunted the former supermodel, as she is not really an endorser of nip tucks, specifically pertaining to breast augmentation, a subject matter she openly talks about with models on America's Next Top Model. To help McPhee end her misery, Banks gave a gentle squeeze to McPhee's breasts, of course with permission from the former Idol. After the controversial act, Banks concluded that McPhee's breasts are natural since they "jiggle." Hopefully, the verification of Bank's regarding McPhee's breasts authenticity issues will put an end to the buzzing rumors.

Survivor: Fiji - Sylvia Kwan Voted Off

Another irksome contestant on Survivor: Fiji has been voted off! Sylvia Kwan from the tribe of Ravu, was eliminated after spending eight days on the island and is the third contestant to leave the popular reality show.Kwan, a 52-year old architect, came from Ross, California. Born in Hong Kong on August 15, 1954, she studied at the University of California where she acquired her master's degree in architecture. Currently, she has her own architectural firm in San Francisco. Her most cherished project so far is her interior design of the Pacific Bell Park.On the previous episode of the adventure-filled show entitled "Something Cruel Is About To Happen .Real Soon," Kwan was sent to exile by team Moto, a very unlucky start for the allegedly "bossy" architect as her fate on the very first episode also depicted the title. On the show's third episode called "This Isn't Survival. It's Thrival," she was, once again, sent to exile. She spent two stints on Exile Island, an unfortunate and frustrating experience for the self-proclaimed leader. With nearly nothing to see except for sea snakes, her time spent in isolation was a great disadvantage, which gravely aggravated the verdict of the tribal council. After much resistance, tribe members decided to bring an end to Kwan's forceful authoritative behavior. Her eradication from the game, although stimulated by people's poor reception towards her, is significantly brought about by her unsatisfactory performance in the challenges, evident on her struggle on the slip and slide battle.Although the possibility of Kwan becoming the "ultimate survivor" in Survivor: Fiji was a 50/50 chance, her reputation, as a domineering woman did not translate to much salvation. So, who's going to be voted off next?Find out on the next episode of Survivor: Fiji which airs Thursdays 8:00 PM on CBS.

American Idol: The Antonella Barba Situation

This whole Antonella Barba thing has gotten way, way, way out of control. Think about it. This is an American Idol contestant, a 20 year old girl, who has done absolutely nothing wrong. Yet, people are calling for her head. Here’s the situation for those of you who don't follow online gossip blogs. This girl, Antonella Barba, is a top 20 finalist on American Idol. She is in college and while in college, it looks like she had some racy photos taken of her. These photos don't show any explicit nudity, and look to be taken only for private use. Somehow, they made their way to the internet, and now it has become a "scandal".Are you kidding me? Is this what our society has come down to? That a girl can’t dress scantily clad, have photos taken of her, without invoking the wrath of the masses. One of the big issues here is that people take offense to photos of her in a wet t-shirt being taken in the Washington DC war memorial. If you think seriously for a second, you will realize how ridiculous it is to be offended by breasts when war is a topic of discussion. The two are so far apart in the spectrum of life that people just need to relax.Anyway, American Idol needs to make sure they do nothing rash, and leave this girl on the show. If they were to kick her off, how would that reflect on FOX and the American Idol producers. This girl has done nothing wrong and deserves to continue competing on American Idol.

UFC The Evolution of Insanity

Ultimate Fighting Championship. A few years ago it was the antonym of professional fighting. Brutal, no holds barred fights pitting bare knuckle brawlers from all over the world against each other in its infamous octagon with one end in sight, total physical annihilation. Careers were ended in these shoddily produced pay-per-views, and lives ruined forever. To many, in the beginning, it was an inelegant enterprise that made boxing a graceful ballet in comparison. Not any more. Now UFC is a huge phenom, drawing audiences by the millions to its lavish pay per views. The brand has spawned a reality show that baits potential bruised, and even weekly toned down exhibition shows. There are rules now, the refs are more apt to stop the fights before a hapless grapplers face is filleted away by point blank elbows hammering into his cheek-bones. A kick to the groin will now get you a little break, and a warning, and the fighters are more respected for their use of punishing hyperextension holds and chocks then for coming in with the intent of bashing their man bloody to the ground. As the game becomes more civilized, the faces get prettier. Back in the day, hardened flab and pock marks were the call signs of fighters like Ken Shamrock and Dan Sevrin. Today’s younger fighters like Michael Bisping, and Fabricio Werdum radiate charisma and speak in well thought out bursts of bravado rhetoric. Is the legitimacy of the sport a sign of the times changing, or merely the natural growth of an epic organization? Has the ‘toning’ down of the once unrestrained brutality made UFC more applicable to mass media? During times of war, school violence, and increasing rhetoric of death and woe, it would seem that it is the world that has adapted to UFC, and not vice versa. At the end of the day, it’s still the same game. Two men enter an octagonal steel cage, gaze fixed on each other, and a sense of danger radiates from every corner of the event. When the fighters finally lock up, the rush begins, and it is only a matter of time before someone goes down.

Smallville’s John Glover To Star on Broadway

Smallville’s John Glover has been an expert when it comes to television series, movies and theatrical productions. But more importantly, he is a renowned professional when it comes to Broadway shows, evident in his acquisition of the role of "Man in Chair" on the production of "The Drowsy Chaperone.""The Drowsy Chaperone," created by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, is popularly known for being a Tony-award winning production. The world-famous play centers on a vain showgirl, who is about to marry a man she only just met, and her producer, who does not want to lose his precious starlet. The said musical have also garnered countless nomination and has acquired a number of worldwide recognitions and acclamations. This should be a simple and uncomplicated venture for this theatre buff that has previously starred in a number of Broadway and off-Broadway shows, not to mention films and TV projects. Spending majority of his acting career in theatre, Glover takes this opportunity as an invigorating pep up and affirmation of his successful acting profession. On the show Smallville, Glover plays Lex Luthor’s father, Lionel Luthor, who is perceived as a deceitful and corrupt but very powerful person. Armed with abundant resources, he utilizes his wealth and influence to entice and lure illicit deals. Although Glover portrays a very challenging and interesting character, his addition to Smallville appears to be a "poles apart" undertaking for this established theater actor. But still his inclusion to the series has given him much diversity and versatility in acting, and has ultimately established his stance on the television loop. Moreover, the series has given him much exposure and opportunity to flaunt his convincingly good acting. The much-awaited Broadway performance of John Glover will be shown in April this year. In the mean time, fans and spectators can catch a glimpse of Glover’s brilliant acting expertise on Smallville, which airs Thursdays at 8:00 PM on The CW Network.

LOST Gets Back to the Beach!

Tired of the concrete and steel ensemble saturating the ambiance of the third season of LOST? Well, say hello to some wet and wild adventures as LOST sets out to the beach, and say goodbye to the gloomy fortress, at least for the mean time.Largely filmed on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, LOST is branded for its seraphic sceneries mostly showcasing the beach. But with the progression of the story lines, integration of other sets arises like the steel-coated Dharma facility, which became the grounds for a number of twists, deaths and discoveries, for quite some time now. The previous plots set inside the Dharma facilities has unfortunately left LOST fans with much disenchantment, growing tired of the confined foxhole. But towards the end of February, viewers will get to see more of the sunny and sandy island, and less of the underground bunker. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will, once again, get a taste of the jungle fever and coastline escapades. Staring off with Kate, Locke and Sayid’s attempt on retrieving Jack from the "others." Aside from the sun-drenched environment, the approaching March episodes are bound to bring light to several mystifying story holes waiting to be answered such as the cause of the paralysis of Lock, the truth of Jack and Claire’s relations, Sayid’s quest for his long-time love Nadia, and more explorations about the vague and obscure Dharma. Of course, there will still be a lot of the usual flashbacks that further complicates, as well as brings clarity to the nature of the characters, as well as the plot of the series. With all these intriguing and mystery-filled goodies coming up, it’s going to be hard not to give in to the LOST sensation. The multi-award winning drama series airs Wednesdays at 9:00 PM on ABC.

Designing a graphic design portfolio

Graphic design is the art of combining design principles, technology and ingenuity to arrive at solutions for a variety of visual communication needs. It is used in making business cards, logos, movie title graphics, websites, user manuals and signage. An attractive graphic design enhances visibility of the product and generates revenue for the client. Therefore, the graphic designer is an important member of the core team working on the campaign. Most clients would need proof of one’s designing abilities. It is not as much about the list of former clients or award-winning work done before. It is about what the designer is capable of. Hence, every designer needs to compile his design solutions into a portfolio. The portfolio should be put together with care. It is like the business card for a designer. The potential client is more interested in knowing whether you have the skill to translate his design needs into an effective campaign rather than your list of qualifications. The portfolio should, therefore, reflect the type of work you are comfortable in doing. A beginner or a person who does not work with many clients may not have much to show. In such a case, it is better to include most of the designs, which the person has done in the past. The most important aspect of compiling the portfolio is to decide the pieces that would go into it. If you do not have many products to show, then it is better to include work, which you had done for friends. As we said before, clients are not concerned about who hired you before. They are just interested in knowing what kind of design capabilities you possess. For a newcomer or a freelancer, there could be possibilities of work done for close family, community organizations and friends. It is wise to accommodate such pieces in your portfolio. They reveal the ability to come up with acceptable solutions within budgetary constraints. The portfolio should contain actual samples. For example, include brochures, fliers, book covers etc. On every project, obtain one or two copies for sample or portfolio use. File it away neatly. If your work was part of a larger design, such as illustrations in a book, include only those pages, by tearing them off. In case, you are not able to obtain originals, take printouts from your digital files or photocopies. More and more designers work in the area of web design. Include screen shots and high-resolution print outs from the website.Once the pieces are chosen, one has to assemble them in a portfolio case. The case should accentuate the work rather than distract from it. Size of the case depends on the size of the materials. Place your best work at the beginning and at the end. You can also arrange according to clients or skill types. Always update your portfolio as you complete new projects.A well-thought out and neatly presented portfolio is the first step towards establishing your business credentials. It indicates your methodical approach and makes you dependable in the eyes of prospective clients.Visit Graphic Design

Exclusive Interview: Liliana Gomez, 4th Survivor Voted Off

What’s thrilling and intriguing about reality shows is that you’re never really sure of what’s going to happen next. Just like in the last episode of Survivor: Fiji, another member of the Moto tribe was unexpectedly voted off.In an exclusive interview, Liliana Gomez expresses her sentiments on being the fourth Survivor to be eliminated.Liliana Gomez, a 25-year old from Oxnard, California, is currently a loan officer. Born on April 5, 1981, Gomez went to Guadalajara, Jalisco, where she discovered her passion for music and singing. After graduating high school in the United States, she joined the United States Marine Corps where she served for eight years and became part of Operation Iraqi Freedom War.Her decision to join Survivor: Fiji can be described as "out of the blue."Although Survivor was very familiar to her, she was not an avid fan of the series. She just gave it a shot by passing on her headshot in which she stated she had military background. Ultimately, she got a call and went through the casting process and instantly made it as a participant of the adventure-reality show.Looking back, Gomez regrets her decision to go to tribal council after Moto’s winning the immunity challenge. She said, "I am hitting my head against the wall. It’s one of those "doh!" moments. I wish I would have spoke up and said, "You know what, we need as many people as we can, let’s go to the Ravu camp, who cares?"Moreover, Gomez recognizes the fact that the girls on her tribe resent her.She came out strong and exuded a fierce presence just like "one of the boys." But that’s just her innate persona, which unintentionally intimidated them. She also illustrated herself as a tribe member who is hardworking and industrious, unlike other members, particularly pertaining to the girls, who just slack off most of the time.Furthermore, her experience in Survivor, although packed with much backstabbing twists and a little bitterness, is something very precious, memorable and very grateful for. She adds, "I would do again in a heartbeat, but this time I would totally just crush them."

UFC

The art of brutality in its purest, rawest form. That is what UFC offers, or at least it did at one time. Gone are the days of the blood-lust, the modern UFC looks more like a ballet. In its primitive beginnings UFC was the anything goes, bare knuckle blood fest that pulled from underground foreign fighting circuits and targeted the violence nurtured American populace. It was for people who liked to watch men destroy each other, plain and simple. Now, UFC has adapted itself to the mainstream. Instead “Oh, my god, how much more can he take?” commentators are more likely to be heard saying “My god, the ref called that on in a hurry.” What prompted this radical change in style? When The Ultimate Fighter started on UFC, the producers knew some changes had to be made. Even under the protections of late night cable, a weekly UFC was not going to get away with the dangers of the no holds barred style. What if, for example, someone was seriously injured, or even killed? The adjustments were made, and thus UFC crept into the mainstream.Once heralded as the ultimate underground fighting promotion, UFC is now regarded as the contender to take over for Boxing as the century rolls on. Pundits argue that the diverse styles that UFC attracts place their fighters above boxers in terms of intelligence and dynamics. UFC fighters can be anything from Ninja’s to street brawlers, it is hard to say, unless you are a seasoned fan, what direction a UFC fight is going to go in. Is it going to be a submission showdown? Or a knockout? This is part of the glamour of the fight. As UFC moves further and further from its underground roots with charismatic fighters replacing the scarred warriors of past days, it seems nothing can stop it from becoming the sporting event of the future.

Exclusive Interview: Roger Cross, Former Star of 24

Curtis Manning of CTU was one hell of a patriot, but that ended up being his downfall. Curtis was a loyal member of CTU and a loyal friend of Jack Bauer, but it was his friend Jack Bauer who had to murder him for the greater good earlier in this season. This was an unfortunate blow for 24 fans who had come to love Curtis Manning as a character, and also was a blow to the actor who played Curtis Manning, Roger Cross.Roger Cross sat down for an exclusive interview with Roger Cross recently, and Mr. Cross seems like an all-around genial fellow. He started his career in life as a commercial pilot, but ended up in Hollywood as a stunt man. Born in Jamaica, Cross spent his first 11 years of life there before emigrating to North America for good with his parents. It became clear to him that his path was going to end up in the acting realm and so he pursued it fully. He got his role on 24 and, although it was originally slated to only be a 6 episode arc for the Curtis character, the show ended up keeping him for full two seasons and the beginning of this last one. His death had nothing to do with how the show felt about him, but just was meant to give Jack Bauer more torment, as if he needed any more. Roger Cross will continue to act in Hollywood, although he doesn’t know where he’ll end up next. Wherever it is, we’ll be watching.

Grey’s Anatomy – The Rise of a Franchise

When the Grey's Anatomy Cast: Entertainers of the Year issue of entertainment weekly came out a lot of casual viewers were mildly bemused. How could Grey’s Anatomy have captured such an esteemed honor barely into its second season? Sure Grey’s Anatomy was good, but under the surface it was just another medical drama, right? Doctors running around saving peoples lives, getting into each others pants, looking nothing like tired, overworked and under-rested real life companions from your neighborhood hack shop. Just another medical drama… apparently not! What seems to propel Grey’s Anatomy above the competition is the cinematic quality of the show, a signature of its network ABC. While arguably it was CBS who piloted this approach with CSI, ABC has successfully brought the big screen look to many of its small screen shows, including Grey’s Anatomy and LOST. Another factor which seems to play heavily in Grey’s factor is, of course, its lovely and talented cast. We’d like to think the networks don’t think we are so stupid as to merely throw a cast of pretty faces in front of us and expect us to plant our behinds faithfully every week to watch they do their thing, and we’d be right, in ABC’s case at least. Somebody at ABC is talented beyond belief when it comes to balancing the fine line between good looks and talent. Like LOST, Grey’s Anatomy not only looks good, they move well within a story as well and provide meaningful renditions of characters the public won’t easily put down.Of course, it isn’t all visual. The stories behind Grey’s Anatomy are what truly cement its success and earn it such high praise. The writing and Dirctorial staff behind Grey’s Anatomy is the cream of the crop, veterans of the television drama wars who have earned their reputations as the very best.In the end, I suppose you could attribute Grey’s Success to the patience and deep wallet of ABC.

Some reasons why you should purchase teak furniture for your home.

Teak wood originates from and around Burma, Indonesia and because the wood grows in areas where there are dramatic changes between the dry and wet seasons there it is believed that this helps the woods resilience to many of natures forces across the world and which in turn has made it an extremely popular choice for people when looking for garden and patio furniture.Even during the centuries when it was being used for ship and boat building, the making of wagon wheels and many other high abuse situations it has only been recently than people have begun to see the benefits of using it for making furniture. Certainly teak has not only stood the tests of time when as a wagon wheel it would roll along many old gravel roads hundreds even thousands of time or that has coped with the harshness of the open sea or oceans of the world as the hull of a boat it only seems natural that it should be able to withstand wind, rain, sun or snow as a piece of garden furniture. So by combining the durability of the teak wood along with it’s natural beauty you have a winner on your hands. Each year thousands of households are discovering and agreeing that teak is the ultimate choice. Teak wood comes in a beautiful golden brown shade and this can easily be kept just by simply applying some teak wood oil, but if you want to go for the more rustic look, then you do not need to apply any treatment and other some time the wood will fade to a natural silver grey colour. You will find that teak wood furniture needs little maintenance but washing it with warm soapy water to remove any dirt or dust is a good idea, especially prior to you applying an teak wood oil (remember to let the wood dry before applying). You can if you want just wash the garden furniture off using the garden hose only because the wood possesses a high level of natural oil which prevents it from becoming water logged. After some time you may also notice that wood is showing some small surface cracks, but these do not run deep and certainly do not pose any structural threat to the wood itself. In fact it is these cracks and the changes in the woods colour that draws so many people to the rustic natural look of the wood in the first place.Certainly as teak wood becomes even more popular, I’m sure that we will see knock offs and copies being produced and whilst the appearance of them may be the same the real reason why so many people purchase teak furniture is its durability and natural beauty which in the long run will be very difficult to copy. So when considering purchasing new furniture think Teak. There are many shops not just around the world but also online who can offer a varied range of furniture. Remember it is worth spending that little extra and what ever piece or pieces that you are purchase you can be sure that you will not need to replace that piece/s forever.

New York City Travel Tips for Staying In Budget

Watching a visitor enter New York City for the first time has always been the equivalent of watching a deer in the headlights. The fast pace, noise and traffic just seem to startle my friends when we go into the controlled recklessness flowing through the streets of Manhattan. Growing up right near New York it has always been my playground, and perhaps something I took for granted as I was younger. There is no question in my mind New York is the best city and offers the most and best of whatever your desire be. If great food is your forte, well the best chefs thrive in the alleys, nightlife? The city has the best you will find and you will continue to find new hot clubs, concerts? almost every artist considers New York their favorite venue, sports? Come on the Yankee's and the Mets The Giants and the Jets? Oh, and lets not forget New York Broadway Theater, the best musicals, plays and shows anywhere! So with so much to do it is no wonder why friends become lost and a bit overwhelmed by New York's addicted charm, and if I was not there to guide them they would probably just sit in the car wondering where to go. Most people think a trip to New York is going to hit the wallet pretty hard, but believe it or not a great time can be had on a small budget if you are willing to go a bit off the beaten path.My first recommendation would be a nice, safe and inexpensive place to stay. The going rate for an average hotel room in Manhattan is around 300.00, not chump change, especially when you are use to paying about 80.00 for a decent room. A couple important factors to take into account here, you want to be safe, you want a well lit area and you want to be near transportation. Lets not forget, you are a stranger in the largest city in the world, a dive in a questionable neighborhood is out of the question for a family vacation. So where in the world are we gonna find something which covers such bases? The best bet is always to purchase direct from the box office, but if you missed the boat find a New York ticket broker, the tickets may cost twenty to thirty percent more, however, you will be able to choose your seat and be safe from scalping or fake tickets. An inexpensive way to get a great seat is to simply go to the will call of the venue and see if anyone has canceled last minute. Many times tickets are held for performers or stage hands and the individuals they invited were unable to attend, making a great seat available at face value last minute. Avoid scalpers in New York, they are to risky and more times then not you will pay a lot of money and never enter to see the show. Try a New York ticket broker before even thinking about buying from the risky streets of the city. The last tip for finding that hard to get ticket, hop online and find a forum dedicated to the show you want to see. Now you have just got a great seat at face value and made a new friend on your New York vacation.

The Producers Wins Over Broadway With Slapstick Humor

The Producers has been enjoying a nice run on Broadway since it's opening on April 19th 2001 at the St. James Theatre located at 246 West 44th Street. The production is considered an original musical comedy and critics as well as audiences agree the Mel Brooks classic holds up it's end of the laughter which is expected and promised. The show runs for two hours and forty minutes with one intermission.Based on the Mel Brook's movie, of the same name, which played in 1968, the tale tells of a down and out producer who writes the worst screen play in the history of movie script writing and then continues to attempt of conning two old ladies out of two million dollars. The hilarious Broadway power duo of Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick team up to play the classic characters of Max Biaystock and accountant Leo Bloom. Both actors received acclaim for their work with the production and the slapstick humor, which is often just plain silly is pulled of with perfection throughout the brilliant show. The storyline of the show is based in New York around the 1959 time period, in which Max creates the worst screen play ever to be written, this of course was done purposely. Max wants the script to be a failure in order to back out of having to pay his investors, and con everyone out of their money. The comedy begins right away when you think what could the worst screen play ever written possibly be named? Well, Springtime For Hitler sure seems to have the name for a bad screenplay. What could be worst, or really more funny is how the bill is advertised, as a gay romp through World War II. With all this said it seems doomed from the start, just like Max and Leo expect, but who could ever guess that it would soon become a huge hit.Now there are very special comedic moments which occur throughout these events, and both Lane and Broderick really play the silly slapstick comedy of Mel Brook's extremely well. The singing and music also adds a nice touch to the humor and story. The story then moves on into the main plot as the two con men are forced to try and take advantage of two older women for the two million dollars they set out to rob from the investors. The show is perfect for adults who enjoy sill and more slapstick humor. The comedy is not very deep or intellectual humor at all, more of the silly little things which hit your funny bone hard and fast and just makes you laugh. For a light hearted night out on Broadway and some rea good laughs The Producers will most likely provide exactly what is advertises and probably more laughs then you can handle. With 11 Tony's in 2001 including best musical score, best director and best musical you cannot go wrong. Broadway Producer show tickets are selling on average for seventy-five dollars

Chicago Dances Onto Broadway and Delights New York

The production of Chicago is back on Broadway, The 1975 original show scored mild success in New York's theater district, but never won the hearts of audiences. The "new" Chicago is now in it's eighth year and has gained a solid fan base along with praise from critics.Perhaps it is the storyline of Chicago which is more adapted to today's courtroom dramas and media frenzy which seems to be a staple of our society. In the new era of news coverage and with people hanging on to a "Hollywood" story, such as the infamous O.J chase down the Los Angeles streets, it seems the story of Chicago is more able to succeed then a quarter of a century ago when such a story may have seemed a bit absurd. So what is so intriguing about the show? Well, lets start out with Roxie Hart, an outlandish over the hill woman who decides on killing her boyfriend. Roxie then hires an attorney to try and put the blame on her husband. She loves the attention she is receiving and soon becomes a celebrity status, which seems to drive her more. Turning the courtroom into a carnival and enjoying every second of her new found fame and media attention. The revival of Chicago has become a success in the theater district of New York, and has received critical acclaim for the musical scores and dance sequences which lavish the production.Currently starring such actors as Brooke Shields, Luba Mason, Christopher McDonald, Debra Monk, P.J. Benjamin Music by John Kander a book by Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb under the direction of Walter Bobbie and choreography by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse. Chicago is a huge hit and has become one of Broadway's "must see" shows. Broadway Chicago show tickets are averaging around seventy dollars per ticket.Chicago is playing at the Ambassador Theatre on Broadway in New York. Located on the North side of West 42nd Street, between Broadway & 8th Avenue. The show is 2 hours and 30 minutes long with 1 intermission and opened on November 14th 1996. The movie which won huge scores from top critics may have launched the Broadway production and helped with the success which was unable to be achieved in it's first run in New York.Being boasted a fun comedy with some elements of drama, perhaps this is not a show for the whole family. For a fun night out on the town for adults the show will be sure to please, with a more adult storyline and humor for an older crowd, leave the children home and enjoy this well received production.

Phantom of the Opera Breaks Hearts and Broadway Records

Phantom of the opera is the longest running Broadway show in the history of New York theater, originally opening on January 26, 1988 the production is in it's eighteenth year and still drawing huge audiences while breakingrecords along the way. The show is playing at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway in the Theater district located on the North side of 44th Street west of Broadway close to 8th Avenue. Running time is two and a half hours with one intermission and considered in the genre of original Broadway musical. The question always arises "what makes phantom of the opera such a hit on Broadway" and there is no easy answer to the question, perhaps it is the storyline and the subject of beauty and love or maybe it is the writing ofAndrew Lloyd Webber along with Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe. Whatever the reason there is no questioningthe fact that phantom of the Opera has created a lot of attention and become a staple to the Broadway theaterscene. The musical is based on the original novel written by Gaston Leroux and has been winning audiences over withit's dark and romantic storyline. With now over ten million theater audiences entertained by the production intwenty-two countries and over one hundred cities the success reaches much further then New York alone. With international success on this level the show clearly has something which entertains and touches the hearts of everyone who goes to see it.Telling the story of Christine Dae, a young and inexperienced member of the Paris opera Company. Christinequickly becomes the focus of the "Phantom" and is soon captured and taken victim to the man who hauntsthe theater house. The Phantom wants the young women to premier as the opening prima Donna for the production. He then moves forward to bring the maiden beneath the theater and into his secret lair, where he quickly confess his love for her.Christine however has a much different love interest, the rich and handsome opera house patron by the nameof Raoul. There becomes the struggle for the young opera singers love and attention by the handsome Raouland the Phantom. The tension from these relationships is what moves the show into it's musical climax. Will the Phantom reveal himself to Christine or will he forever live alone in his lair, hidden from the world? The Phantom of the opera touches on something which we all sometimes feel, the struggle to accept our faultsand to have the strength to show what one might consider a weakness to the world. The story seems to captivate audiences with it's truth about love and acceptance, as well as if beauty truly is only skin deep. The reason the show has had such success world wide is simply do to the power of the writing which toucheson something very deep within everyone, regardless of nationality. The Phantom of the Opera's cast includes Howard McGillin, Sandra Joseph, Rebecca Pitcher, Tim Martin Gleason, Anne Runolfsson, Jeff Keller, George Lee Andrews, Marilyn Caskey, Larry Wayne Morbitt, Kara Klein. The musical score credits go to Andrew Lloyd Weber, who createdsome memorable music which really adds to the depth of the production. Lyrics were created by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgow, the show is under the direction of Harold Prince. The hit record breaking musical is a great choice for adult audiences. The more dramatic storyline and mature musical score would likely not entertain a younger audience. Phantom of the Opera show tickets areselling at an average price of around seventy-five dollars. For a great night out and if you are in the moodfor a more dramatic musical on Broadway, this show is sure to leave you entertained and the proof isin the sheer numbers of audiences which have already left the theater in awe.

New York Insider Shoestring Budget Travel Tips

The New Yorker Hotel is my favorite place to stay, built in the 1930s the rooms have a very unique style and cost is in the 100.00 dollar range.
